This document is a formative assessment manual for mathematics teachers of Class X published by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) of India. It contains formative assessment tasks and rubrics to evaluate students in 14 mathematics chapters. The manual was produced by a group including retired academics and teachers who developed the assessment materials and were monitored by an editing committee from CBSE. It is intended to aid continuous and comprehensive evaluation of students as part of the CBSE's school-based assessment system.
