- 4 out of 10 Romanians watch football on TV daily and 3 out of 10 men attend football games in stadiums regularly.
- Football is the most popular sport watched on TV, followed by boxing and handball. Football games are also most commonly attended in stadiums.
- Football viewers are predominantly male (77%), between ages 14-54, married, and have at least a high school education. Nearly half of those earning over 2000 RON monthly watch football.
