 SUMMER INTERNSHIP PROJECT: APL logistics and movers PVT. LTD., Rajkot
 11 week (4th April to 20th June, 2011)

 o   Title: Assessment of market potential in Rajkot
 o   Objective: To assess the size of the market, the needs of the potential clients, the existence of
     competition and the revenue potential of the market for the launch of company
 o   Methodology: conduct almost 70 in-depth interviews with top management of company
     belonging to various sectors
 o   Top line Finding:
               Market size is attractive and growing at a healthy rate
               Customers are not very price sensitive. What they value from their partners is
                  service and relationship
               Market currently dominated by Vellji Dhosa logistics. Company enjoys blind trust of
                  almost 80% of the clients

 SALES IN PRACTICE: Bird Vision, Pune
 3 Months (July to September, 2011)

 o   Company in the field of customized merchandise development
 o   Responsible for generation of corporate leads
 o   Generated two leads for the company. In the process of finalization of orders

 o   Cold calling to prospective customers to identify their requirements/ needs
 o   Customer satisfaction measurement amongst existing customers

LIVE PROJECTS

o   Idea Generation: Generation of viable business ideas keeping in mind the constraints of place
    and capital available. Finalized an idea in the area of ‘shoe laundry’
o   Budding Entrepreneur: Responsible for commencing, managing and winding up a one day
    business with a capital of Rs.100. The group purchased vegetables direct from the farmers and
    sold them in the vegetable market. Earned a profit of 88% on the seed capital
o   Product development: - Designed a complete marketing mix of T-shirts with a ‘unity in diversity’
    as the theme. Sold T-shirts for Rs 7800 with 29% profit margin
o   Brand Building: Developed a brand identity mix Aggarawal sweets in Pune
o   HR Management: Conducted employee’s satisfaction at S.S.Group
