Rosa describes how transportation, fashion, and daily life have changed from past generations. Her great grandmother traveled by horse-drawn cart, while now there are many types of cars. Women in the past wore dresses and plaits in their hair, unlike the varied clothing options today. Chores like washing and ironing that used to be done by hand are no longer as physically demanding as technology has advanced.
