The Rotary Club of Truro is partnering with local Rotary clubs and NGOs in Cameroon to rebuild the deteriorated Befang Presbyterian Secondary School. The existing school buildings are in poor condition, with leaky roofs, no running water or proper latrines. This project will rebuild the secondary school and two-room primary school to improve education conditions and sanitation for 211 students and teachers. Community volunteers are making bricks for construction. The Integrated Development Foundation will administer the project, and Mr. Tafrie, who oversaw a previous successful school rebuild, will coordinate construction efforts.
