BRIEF INFORMATION ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT The department was founded in 1992 and is one of the leading departments of the Faculty of Humanities. Trains specialists in the field of "History. There are 8 employees in the department, 2 Doctors and 4 PhDs among them. Two lecturers were awarded with the title "Honored Worker of Higher Professional Education of the Russian Federation"

RESEARCH ACTIVITIES ORGANIZATION AND CARRYING OUT Academic competition on history for students (Kirov, VyatSU, 2012) Scientific Conference "Year of Russian History (Kirov, VyatSU, 2012) As part of the Festival of Science (November 2012) was carried out an intellectual game "What, Where, When?" dedicated to the 200th anniversary of the War of 1812.
