This document discusses running the Sugar learning platform on existing computers through "Sugar on a Stick" (SoaS) installations on USB drives or live CDs. It promotes applying for free XO laptops through the Contributors Program to develop new curriculum using Sugar activities. It also describes bulk purchasing XO laptops directly from OLPC for a school deployment and provides various resources for support and learning more.

Apply for up to 10 free XOs from our
Contributors Program to develop interesting and
innovative curriculum-driven ways to use the Sugar
Activities with students.
Purchase 100 or more XOs for use in your school
at OLPCs approximate cost (presently about $230
plus tax and shipping). Currently, schools and
agencies can combine orders to reach the 100
machine minimum.
