Solar safety signage and gas monitoring equipment that run on solar power were discussed. Solar signs can be programmed and run autonomously for 14 days without additional power. Solar gas monitors can wirelessly transmit data up to 9 miles. Method 21 relay stations use solar-powered air monitors to detect VOC leaks from equipment and shut down pumps or other systems if levels are unsafe. Solar power solutions provide benefits over wired systems by reducing installation and operating costs while allowing portable and remote monitoring.
