Presentation submitted to SAE as proposal, to be used to help seminar registrants get to local hotels, to the training facility, and understand the available amenities they would find once arriving at the SAE Automotive Headquarters facility in Troy, Michigan.

How to Get to the SAE AHQ From Detroit Metro Airport (DTW), take the following route: I-94 Freeway East, to I-75 North, to West Big Beaver (Exit #69)
How to Get to the SAE AutoHQ (contd) The I-75 Freeway/Big Beaver Rd. interchange is a cloverleaf design. When exiting at Big Beaver (exit #69), the off-ramp has two branches , the first branch leads to eastbound Big Beaver, and the SECOND branch, leads to westbound Big Beaver. Take this SECOND (RIGHT) BRANCH!
How to Get to the SAE AHQ (contd) At the end of the off-ramp, turn RIGHT, and stay in the LEFT LANE. You will need to drive a short distance past the National City Center Building (which will be on your left), and loop back.
How to Get to the SAE AHQ (contd) Enter the first left turn lane you encounter, because you will be using this lane to loop back onto eastbound Big Beaver. Make a 180o turnaround (U turn) at this left turn lane, then get in the rightmost lane. Turn right at the next traffic light which is at Troy Center Drive. Next, take the first left turn into the National City Center parking lot shaded in red above.
Once You Have Arrived/Parked Enter the building at the doors nearest the Ruths Chris Steak House Use the elevators that service floors 14 through 25 Take an elevator to the 16th FLOOR (Note: SAE occupies the entire floor)
Once You Have Arrived/Parked (contd) Upon exiting the elevator on the 16th Floor, proceed to the reception area by turning right, passing through the glass entrance doors, and checking in with the SAE staff member at the reception desk.
