- 2. Once upon a time, man had the skyscraper.
- 3. As society grew in sophistication, one of the benefits of technology was miniaturization.
- 4. This improvement easily lent itself to mankinds entrepreneurial spirit.
- 5. The diversification of markets introduced new variations.
- 6. These variations took many forms.
- 7. We were proud of our achievements
- 8. of our innovations.
- 9. Our ingenuity allowed us to reach new heights.
- 10. But regardless of our technological advancements
- 11. the world is still a dangerous place.
- 12. As if behind every tree
- 13. theres something coming up behind us
- 14. or waiting to fall on us
- 15. or to jump out and bite us.
- 16. We dont always see all the hazards
- 17. or the 辱ٴڲ
- 18. or the obstructions in our way
- 19. but there are many.
- 20. Some hazards are
- 21. and some are small.
- 22. They can be found everywhere
- 23. in our ⲹ
- 24. in the Ǵڴھ
- 25. when were ٰԲ
- 26. when were do-it-yourself-in.
- 27. Dont take your safety for granted
- 28. even if youve done a job a thousand times before
- 29. Accidents happen when we least expect them
- 30. when we push the envelope
- 31. when we exceed design limitations
- 32. act carelessly or recklessly
- 33. or improperly use safety equipment.
- 34. Or sometimes, in spite of our best efforts.
- 35. Clear and effective dzܲԾپDzԡ
- 36. is essential to achieving a positive safety culture.
- 37. Leaders must be positive role models...
- 38. as well as communicate support.
- 39. Safety must be engineered into our day-to-day routines.
- 40. Following precautions is a must.
- 41. We cant ignore
- 42. the signs.
- 43. Safety isnt something to joke around about.
