Salim Idris is such a leader and a visionary. In my 30 plus years in the high tech industry in various management positions I have come across very few individuals with the right blend of marketing, sales and engineering talents. Salim is one of those individuals. His abilities in product marketing and solution selling are a rare mix of art and science. He has the natural gift to analyze and present most important benefits of a product or service to make them highly desirable. Salim's enthusiasm, energy and relentless pursuit to achieve the very best have produced many successful product introductions and marketing initiatives. I had the opportunity to work with Salim in creating an entire CCTV line to get Ademco Security Group into that business. This line has grown to over $25.0 Million in less than three years. Salims contribution toward the success of this program could be seen at every level. Due to this success he was asked to focus on the International Systems Sales where his achievements are equally outstanding. It has been my privilege to work with Salim over the past 5 years. I am preparing to retire from the Ademco Group shortly, however I hope we have a chance to work together again in the future to reach new milestones.
