Saman Rijal completed an internship at Nepal Bank Ltd, the oldest bank in Nepal. During the internship, Saman assisted in several departments including customer service, loans, remittances, clearing, pensions, and cash. Saman learned skills like using computers, communication, photocopying, printing checks and statements, and being analytical. Saman also learned attitudes of discipline, teamwork, and time management. Some key observations included frequent account inquiries, issues with account openings, the importance of knowing customers, technical errors, and interest rate questions. Saman provided feedback to the organization about introducing new products, focusing on marketing, expanding services and technology, and providing job rotations. Feedback for the college was to have
