The document describes how depictions of non-monogamous relationships in media like soap operas became more common and accepted over time, from 2014 when same-sex marriage was legalized in California. This led to increasing rates of affairs and less commitment to monogamy in real-world marriages. By the 2030s, heterosexual marriage and family norms had almost completely broken down in developed nations due to the influence of a highly sexualized media environment that normalized all forms of sexuality and relationship structures without regard for their impacts on children.

2. 2014 California legalizes same-sex
marriage. Same-sex scenes appear
every night on TV
2016 Soap-operas start appearing
regularly on TV with gay-married
men discussing their extra-marital
affairs a common practice in gay
marriages. In the soap operas, the
men believe this is harmless and
acceptable.

3. 2017: As a direct consequence of seeing
gay married partners exhibiting tolerance
of extra-marital affairs, we see a slow
year-on-year rise of tolerance in extramarital affairs in heterosexual marriages
too. As always, such trends start with nonnormative married couples and, as time
goes by, the two soap-opera illusions that
everyone is doing it and it has no
negative consequences start to affect the
mindset of more traditional heterosexual
couples.

4. 2018 Hollywood regularly starts to introduce bisexuals
and people in group relationships into their soapoperas. It doesnt show their group sex this is
prime time family television but the makebelieve story is that they all get on well and their
sex is great. All enjoy it in the mythical world of
script written drama. There are no harmful
consequences to worry about. Fantasy world, but
the public buys it.

5. 2019 Soap operas now start appearing where
heterosexual married partners openly discuss
their affairs. All the TV stars present this as
harmless and fun. Rates of infidelity in newly
formed heterosexual marriages start
increasing at an even faster rate maybe 3% a
year.
2020 We see of several types of same-sex marriage
forming. E.g.:
The toy boy marriage: Middle aged American
gay men marrying a gay 16 year-old boy
maybe from Thailand

As direct consequence of the positive illusion that
Hollywood creates around bisexuals and group
relationships that its all tenderness between
consenting adults - we see the legalization of group
marriages occurring in states in the USA. Sex
between 3 or more married partners starts to
appear every night on the TV. Its legal. Heterosexual
teens watch this government blessed sex too - and
copy.

7. 2024 As a direct consequence soap operas start
appearing with heterosexual, married couples
discussing who they will bring into the bedroom
with them and bedroom sex scenes involving a
married couple + 1 appear on TV every evening.
A generation of heterosexuals raised on hard
core computer porn sees very little problem
with this. Children experience poorer outcomes
- but one wouldnt know it from the soap
operas.

8. 2027: Although the legalisation of group marriages was to
bring about equality for a very small number of bisexuals,
other types of group marriage have also been legalised. E.g.;:
The Harem: Some wealthy or powerful males and females
gather a group of beautiful young males or females under
them through marriage. This can include a gay man having a
harem of very young gay males and the holding of parties
where other gay men can enjoy this mans possessions.
Reality TV shows appear showing these harems having legal,
state recognised group sex. The real reality is that, just as
harems in the past, these harems are full of jealousy, sibling
rivalry, people demeaning themselves to gain favour, the
twisting of the personality of the king or queen who has
absolute power, and the abuse of social class - those who
marry into the harem are typically from underprivileged
backgrounds or developing nations, etc.

9. 2027: Several types of group marriage have appeared. E.g.;:
The Polygamous Patriarchal Marriage: The supply of
reasonable men keeps shrinking due to more and more men
not being raised with the modelling of a loving father. Many
women are left with a choice. To stay single or to marry into a
polygamous marriage where the man is a reasonable human
being. Of course the trade off is that there is jealousy, the
bending over backwards to gain favour, the toleration of the
husbands normally unacceptable poor behaviour because all
wives are in a position of weakness, etc. Some of these families
work, but many become places of constant arguments between
the women. The sons grow up with a sense of entitlement, and
their fathers role modelling makes it hard for them to be a
faithful monogamous partner in marriage. As in many cultures
where group marriages occur some daughters become objects
to be traded.
9
10. 2028: Staying monogamous in heterosexual marriages is ever
harder to maintain. Though most in their youth dreamed of a
successful life-long, monogamous marriage, many couples now
have their dream confused by the medias desire to make a profit
a profit out of showing all forms of sexuality as if they are all a
normal, healthy possibility. Most find lasting love becomes
almost impossible to sustain.
Most people grow old alone. Many of the 80% of children being
raised by a single mother, especially those in lower social
classes, are abused by her visiting boyfriends. Many grow up in
such desperate need of love from a male figure that they are
willing to subject themselves to various forms of depravity to get
some love and attention.
10
11. 2030 - With the heterosexual, marital-family norm of
fidelity having no protection from society many women
dont marry. They focus instead on their careers. Most
the men they know expect them to act like the porn
stars they watch on mainstream TV everyday. Many
women feel they would never want to bring children
into such a highly sexualised world. These women
sometimes get their sexual needs fulfilled with short
term flings, but many shut their heart off to the
possibility of finding lasting love.
The heterosexual marital-family the best place to raise
children and the social space where heterosexual
women and men are most likely to experience
tenderness, love and a meaningful life - is almost
completely destroyed in most developed nations.

Before redefinition marriage was: The social space
where two opposite-sex heterosexuals make a
declaration of lasting love so they are best able to
take RESPONSIBILITY to fulfil the RIGHT of their
biological child to the best start in life.
After Definition marriage became: The place where
committed adults gained the RIGHT to experience
almost EVERY form of sexual behaviour possible
with the blessing of the state no matter how
much social decay it causes, no matter how many
children are hurt, no matter the very negative
financial costs to society.

Lecture 3 moves on to show how, in a marriage
redefined world, fewer heterosexuals marry in
order to protect their biological children and
how fewer will stay married during the natural
difficult moments in their marriage in order to
bring about best outcomes for their children.
