SAMSUNG is the one of the
largest brand in the world.
SAMSUNG is the South Korean
company and there head
quarter is in SAMSUNG town.
Samsung is the most famous
brand of the world which we
use in our daily life like TV,
mobile, refrigerator and now
these days some watches are
also in the market called Galaxy
Gear. So, these technologies
are the blessings of

SAMSUNG was founded by Lee Byung in
1938 as a trading company. over the next
three years, the group diversified into
different areas including food processing,
textiles, Insurance, securities and retail .
Samsung entered the electronics industry in
late 1960s and in 1970 they entered in
construction and Shipbuilding industry.

Following Lee's death in 1987 SAMSUNG was
separated into four business groups :

In 1977 Samsung Electronics launched the
Telecommunication Network then ,after 11
years Samsung developed its first mobile
phone (SH-100) in 1988.

connectivity problems.
After working on connetivity problems, In
1993 SAMSUNG finally developed a new
model (SH-700), which was quite remarkable
and had a compact design.

SAMSUNG is infringing Apples and some other firms patents,thus,
damaging its reputation and having to pay a huge amount of money in
damages.
Too low profit margin
SAMSUNG Electronics is the largest technology business in the world
in terms of revenues but it has a low gross profit and net profit margins.
Although its smartphones business is quite profitable, SAMSUNGs
profit margin is low due to its semiconductors sales and aggressive
price cuts.
Weaknesses of SAMSUNG
Competitors
Apple, Sony, Dell, HP are the main buyers of SAMSUNG Electronics
products as well as the firms main competitors.
Lack of OS and software
Software and OS production has a high profit margin that can increase
companys products and brand loyalty. Without strong software and OS
SAMSUNG is at disadvantage over its competitors.
