SAP SAP was founded in 1972 in walldorf, Germany. SAP was developed in SAP AG. SAP stands for (Systems Applications and Products in Data Processing). SAP project system is divided in to three environments, 1.DEVELOPMENT 2.QUALITY ASSURANCE 3.PRODUCTION 1.Where most of the implementation work take place. 2.Where the testing is conducted. 3.Client. Technical Features: 1.Platform Independent. 2.Database Independent. 3.Based on 3tier Architecture. 4.Multi Language Support.
1.It can work in any type of platform. 2.Any type of data base. Ex-SQL,ORACLE 3.Presentation, Application and Database. 4.Supports for more than 75 language. SAP AG PRODUCTS 1.SAP R/2 : First ERP Product released in 1979, Language is COBAL 2.SAP R/3 : Second ERP Product release in 1990, Language is ABAP. 3.SAPmini : Small Scale and Medium Scale Business, Language is ABAP. SAP R/2 Works based on Main Frames. SAP R/3 Works based on RDBMS.
