OUR REQUEST
City to install No Parking/No Stopping signs for these areas:
1. Carniel Ave. between Saratoga-Sunnyvale Road and Blue
Meadow Court, both directions
2. Sumner Drive between Fredericksburg and McCartysville,
both directions
JUSTIFICATION
1. Cars parked along these curbs are dangerous to vehicles,
pedestrians, bicycles, & children with nearby high-speed
streets
2. Adequate alternate safe parking nearby in neighborhood
3. California vehicle code authorizes action for this request
Area of Meadowbrook Neighborhood
Saratoga-Sunnyvale Road is 40 MPH speed
Carniel Ave. is short exit
Carniel Ave. is Only ~100 Feet TOTAL
between intersections & only 36 Feet wide
Carniel Ave. is Approx. 100 Feet TOTAL

OUR REQUEST

Most of the residents of this neighborhood, known as
Meadowbrook consisting of 48 homes on 4 streets, support this
request. Upon learning only recently that we individually had
these concerns, we formed a shared voice to bring these issues
to this committee.
