This project involves creating a triptych painting featuring Vishnu, a 3-year old boy. Vishnu likes the color red and goats. The artist, Sarah Moss, researched Vishnu's interests and experimented with different techniques like collage and paint to develop the final piece for her BTEC course. The painting places Vishnu in the center, surrounded by imagery representing his interests, and uses red as the background color in homage to Vishnu's favorite color.

1. Kerala Art project This project is about Vishnu age 3 likes the colour red, his favourite animal is a goat and he enjoys playing with building blocks. Vishnu is quite a serious chap but he does smile occasionally! He doesn’t like being carried or being swung around in the air. He is one of the ‘typical’. In this project I shall experiment and develop my skills to produce a final painting that will feature Vishnu and objects that represent him. By Sarah Moss
11. Final piece. About my work .. My work is towards my BTEC, this is a unit that requires a portrait of a student from a school in Kerala, surrounded with imagery that represent him. My portrait of Vishnu is part of a triptych as Vishnu is three years old. Red is Vishnu favourite colour. I tried to create a background in a similar style to Franz Klien. The symbol down the side is repeated many times to create a repeat pattern. The symbol mean happiness.
