Page 2 Project Summary (Field Works) The project involves design, supply, installation, Testing and commissioning of 110/33/13.8kVAl Khurmah Substation comprising the following equipment’s.  14bays of 110kV GIS (Hyundai, Korea)  02nos of 80/100MVA Power Transformer (Hyundai, Korea)  03nos of 50/67MVA Power Transformer (Hyundai, Korea)  34Feeders of 33kV Switchgear (EPS Schneider, KSA)  53Feeders of 13.8kV Switchgear ( Al Fanar, KSA)  04nos of 7.5MVAr Capacitor bank (Cooper System, USA)  03nos of 7MVAr Capacitor bank (Cooper System, USA)  02nos of Auxiliary Transformer (UTec, KSA)  ACDB & DCDB Panel ( ETA PCS, UAE)  Fire protection & HVAC system  MV & HV Cabling works o Liaison with Consultants/Clients for all project related matters o Generate planning, schedules and workload forecasts to optimise the allocation of field resources to fulfil the project completion schedule in due time. o Co-ordination with in-house team members to carryout parallel activities without affecting stoppage of any works. o Co- ordinate with Civil team for all Electrical related works such as Earth mat laying, earth riser fixing, Sleeves fixing, Opening for Cables and Cable trays. o Installation & testing for Earthing system o Monitor the project Implementation activities equipment receipt, inspection, erection, testing and commissioning. o Studying the local Legal Regulations, Contract documents, Project specification and executing the works accordingly. o Effective coordination with other departments, outside agencies, Sub contractors and local Authorities to execute the work without affecting project schedule, cost and quality. o Planning, monitoring and controlling material and manpower at site. o Obtaining Safe receipts for materials from Consultant/Authority.

Page 3 o Preparation of BOQ for electrical items such as Earthing, Lighting and Small Power, Cable trays and accessories etc. o Installation of 110kV GIS,132kV GIS, 33kV GIS, 13.8kV Switchgear,11kV switchgear, LV switchgear, Control and Relay Panel, Capacitor Bank, Power Transformer, Auxiliary Transformer, Batteries, HVAC Units, 132kV Power cables, 33kV Power Cables,13.8kV Power Cables, LV Control Cabling works. o GIS testing with manufacture –Gas leakage test, Moisture content & purity checks. o Power transformer oil processing- Vacuuming, Oil Filling, Oil Circulation and commission checks. o Power transformer shock log check with manufacture for installation. o Co-ordination with Manufacturer for Successful Erection. o Verification of Cable Schedule and Termination Schedule. o Respond the client / consultant comments with technical clarification Standards and client specification. o Review and modify the construction drawings as per the site deviation and intimate the design department for the same. o Preparation of method statement for each step by step outage activities and getting approval from consultant/Client. o Preparation of method statement, field quality plan for all equipment installation activities as per the organization standards and client specification in line with manufacturer instruction. o Carried out equipment/materials inspection as per the contract & technical Specification o Comply the punch/snag points with the reference to client specification and contractual agreement. o Carried out testing work for insulation resistance, soil resistance & contact resistance test o Carried out MCCB & MCB testing for various panels o Carried out Transformer oil BDV Test & Oil bath test for capillary tubes. o Commissioning checks for battery charger and through DC to panels. o Coordination with testing team for smooth completion of testing activity.
