Seventh grade Earth Science students will conduct research on water quality in their local river. In small groups, they will use online resources like videos and Google Earth to identify potential polluters in the area and summarize their findings. They will then collaborate with a watershed foundation to design stencils with messages about storm drain pollution, which will be painted near drains to raise awareness in the community.
