Project History2005: SCAA signs United Nations Global Compact, principles that businesses and trade associations commit to follow in their operations and strategies. 2006: SCAA Sustainability Committee forms the MDGs Task Force, which uses the MDGs as a framework to guide the Association¡¯s work in the area of sustainability.2007: MDGs Task Force proposes the use of a database in order to better understand the specialty coffee industry's progress towards meeting the MDGs.2008: MDGs Task Force learns of a company called CRedit360,which specializes in database software used to track social responsibility initiatives.January 2009: Credit360 presents to Sustainability Committee & SCAA Board of Directors.April 2010: SCAA launches START project.
