School Board Election
                            April 5, 2011



The Dunlap School District #323 will have four (4) seats on the
seven-member Board of Education to be filled in the April 5, 2011
election. The candidates will serve four year terms expiring in 2015.

Nominating petition forms for the April 5, 2011 school board election
in Dunlap School District will be available on and after September 15.
Forms may be picked up in the District Office located at 3020 W.
Willow Knolls Rd., Peoria, on any business day between 8:00 a.m.
and 4:00 p.m. September 21 is the first day that prospective
candidates may circulate nominating petitions.

A school board candidate’s petition must be filed in the same office
no earlier than 8:00 a.m. on Monday, December 13 and no later than
5:00 p.m. on Monday, December 20, 2010.

To be eligible to serve, a school board member must be, on the date
of election, a citizen of the United States, at least 18 years old, a
resident of the State of Illinois and the school district for at least one
year immediately preceding the election, and a registered voter.

Elections are nonpartisan and board candidates do not indicate a
political party affiliation. Candidates should be aware of financial
conflict-of-interest limitations set forth in The School Code.
