This science class document discusses Archimedes' principle, Pascal's principle, and density. Archimedes' principle states that the buoyant force on an object submerged in a fluid is equal to the weight of the fluid displaced. Pascal's principle explains that pressure exerted anywhere in an enclosed fluid is transmitted equally in all directions throughout the fluid. Density refers to the mass per unit volume of a substance.
