The screenplay depicts a scene at a restaurant where Bryan asks his girlfriend Leena when she will tell her parents about their relationship. Leena is hesitant as her parents want her to focus on her studies. They plan to have their mothers meet by pretending to bump into each other at the mall. The next scene shows Bryan at home, where his mother reminds him of plans they have the next day. That evening, Bryan gets into trouble for texting while driving and accidentally hits a girl walking along the road.

Bryan Come on, please tell me. Over the shoulder. Leena replying to Bryan. Leena Look, Ive told you my parents want me to focus on my studies, its the last year of college, and theyre right. Over the shoulder. Bryan getting irritated. Bryan I know youve told me, but its getting more difficult for us to meet. Over the shoulder. Leena tensed and replying. Leena Im just so confused, why do I even have to be in such a situation? Two shot.
Bryan holding Leenas hand. Bryan Okay, Im sorry please dont cry. Over the shoulder. Bryan gets a call while holding Leenas hand. Bryan Hello! Over the shoulder Bryan talking on the phone. Bryan (V.O) Hi Bryan if youre free tomorrow please take me to the mall. Mid shot Bryan still talking. Bryan Oh okay sure, Ill take you to the mall, ya bye.
Over the shoulder. Leena excitedly replying. Leena Hey, wont this be a good time for our moms to meet. Ill bring my mom and well pretend to bump into each other. Two shot. Bryan replying. Bryan Sounds great. And hey, wear that red shirt I gave you. You always look nice in it. Mid shot. Leenas smiles. Leena Handheld shot.
Bryan and Leena walk out of the restaurant. FADE OUT. Scene 2: FADE IN: INT: HOUSE Close up. Clock ticking Mid shot. Bryan ringing the bell. Bryan Long shot. Bryan walking inside the house. Bryan Hi mom.
Panning shot. Bryan continues to walk inside. Mom Hurry the foods ready. Mid shot. Bryan sits at the dining table. Panning shot. Mom shouting at Bryan. Mom Will you stop texting, your food is getting cold. Mid shot Mom shouting again. Mom And dont forget tomorrow at 5:30. Over the shoulder.
