- 1. Screenplay for: Adversity EXT. ADAM’S HOUSE. EARLY MORNING. ADAM fumbles for keys. Unlock door and opens. INT. ADAM’S KITCHEN. EARLY MORNING. ADAM slams door shut and stumbles inside. ADAM (Sudden realisation) Shit! INT. STAIRCASE. EARLY MORNING. ADAM drunkenly trips and walks up stairs. INT. ADAM’S BEDROOM. EARLY MORNING. ADAM stumbles round empty bottles and gets into his bed. INT. ADAM’S ROOM. MORNING. ADAM’S alarm goes off waking him up with a song. He starts getting ready for college. ADAM’S MUM (Shouting) Get up you good for nothing pain in the arse! You’ll be late… Again! INT. STAIRCASE. MORNING. ADAM walks down stairs after getting ready. And leaves house. EXT. ADAMS STREET. MORNING. ADAM puts in earphones and background music gets louder. As he walks to college. EXT. COLLEGE ROAD. MORNING. SEAN approaches ADAM from behind and startles him SEAN (Excited) Hey man, what(s)up? ADAM (Takes out earphones as they walk into car park) Oh, hey. Nothin’ much, you? EXT. COLLEGE CAR PARK. MORNING. SEAN Yeah! Buzzin’ after last night! ADAM (Notices Lucy from across the car park talking to her friend)
