This document provides instructions for managing and maintaining physical and logical devices: 1) It describes how to create a RAID 5 volume using a minimum of 3 dynamic disks by right clicking unallocated space, selecting new volume, choosing RAID 5, selecting disks, assigning space and drive letter, and performing a quick format. 2) It explains how to use the CHKDSK tool to check and automatically fix file system errors by opening a volume's properties, selecting the tools tab, clicking check now, and starting the process. 3) It outlines how to use the disk defragmentation tool by opening a volume's properties, selecting tools, and clicking defragment now. 4)
