Accomplishment
I was accredited and certified Credit Representative in 2015 with the MFAA after completing my Diploma of
Mortgage and Finance Management. My core activity was to build relationships with other related industry
businesses in order to generate referral business. This required me to attend networking meetings, functions and
seminars. Interviewing clients about their requirements, questioning techniques, listening and meeting the client¡¯s
expectation by providing loan options and structuring finance to suit their needs came from sales leads that I had
created.
My experience was a greater insight and appreciation for business and cash-flow. The need to have a unique selling
point in a highly competitive industry dominated by large broker firms and all the banks. The value of creating a
client base and connections. The expense of running a very small professional service business. Few brokers are
employed, there is a two year mentoring program that an entry level broker must undertake before being able to
write loans on their own. This experience was invaluable to me as professional development in the financial services
industry.

CREDIT MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE
April 2011- October 2014
Wholesale Credit Controller, CNH Industrial Capital, St. Marys N.S.W ¨C Commercial Accounts
This was a full time position as a full function credit controller in a commercial environment. This role was a step up
above all my previous roles. The monetary value and risk was higher to manage, there could be economic and
seasonal issues for the machinery dealers in certain areas of Australia. Duties included
? Busy month end processing of payments and credit notes
? Monthly debtor reconciliations
? Review of dealers¡¯ credit limits to meet demands for stock.
? Large portfolio size of >$50 million with large stock holdings and spare parts invoices
? Negotiation with dealers and other account managers over stock and inventory needs including managing
aged stock and payment arrangements.
Accomplishments
I was given an opportunity to be part of a team that worked, tested and implemented an online remittance advice
for the payment of inventory.
I was invited to provide a presentation to the finance department on the topic of a credit analyst and underwriter.
I was given a project to work with the internal sales team to improve on the retention of business through rewriting
residual or balloon payment at the end of the contracts term. The benefit to the organization was to keep the
receivables balances with the company and it was a means to find out about competitors rates.
August 2004- March 2011 Credit Controller, Unistrut / Atkore Tyco, Mount Druitt N.S.W
This was a full time position as a full function credit controller for trade debtors and commercial accounts for a
global market leading manufacturer of electrical and building products.
Duties included
? Collections of past due invoices including telephone and written communication
? Review of credit applications and reference checks
? Portfolio size >$6 million including major accounts for Hagemeyer and MM Electrical Group
? High volume payment allocations receipting and reconciliation. Payments in excess of $1 million at month
end.
? Reviewing and creating credit notes in SAP
? Preparing month end reports including D.S.O
? High volume of account reconciliation
Accomplishment
I was rewarded with the opportunity to be recognized as the Senior Controller as a supervisor and mentor for
another collector.

OTHER INTERESTS
I have an interest in self-improvement topics such as mindfulness based stress relief. I like reading biographies, I
am very interested in science and in particular astronomy. I love my sport and outdoor activities, including walking
in nature. It is my desire to share with others, to be a support, I have enrolled with Springwood Neighborhood
Centre and Uniting Care as a volunteer which commenced in August 2016.
