God is self-existent according to several Bible passages. Isaiah 44:24 says God stretched out the heavens and spread out the earth alone. Acts 17:25 implies God does not need anything since He gives life and breath to all. Romans 11:33-36 teaches that God's judgments and ways are unsearchable, and that from, through, and to Him are all things. The passages establish that God exists in and of Himself alone, without needing anything to exist, and that He is the source and sustainer of all creation.

The Self-Existence of God Intro: The effect of God being both One and Eternal is Self-Existence. God exists in and of Himself alone. Isaiah 44:24 Thus says the LORD, your Redeemer, and the one who formed you from the womb, "I, the LORD, am the maker of all things, Stretching out the heavens by Myself And spreading out the earth all alone, Acts 17: 24 25 "The God who made the world and all things in it, since He is Lord of heaven and earth, does not dwell in temples made with hands; nor is He served by human hands, as though He needed anything, since He Himself gives to all people life and breath and all things; Observation: t Carefully read and reread the text. When compared with Isaiah 44:24, can there be any doubt that Scripture teaches that Jesus is the LORD God who created the Universe by Himself? There is no other interpretation when trying to assimilate these two passages at once. Note: In light of this verse, it is clear that the abortion and evolution issues are really spiritual in nature, and require prayer and Gods power to be resolved. Until people understand the divine origins of life and nature, they will never see the true deception of the theory of evolution and the pro abortion stance. It is not freedom to think or do what you want that sets you free, but Truth. For WHO HAS KNOWN THE MIND OF THE LORD, OR WHO BECAME HIS COUNSELOR? Or WHO HAS FIRST GIVEN TO HIM THAT IT MIGHT BE PAID BACK TO HIM AGAIN? For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things.
