This document discusses conducting semi-structured interviews for research purposes. Semi-structured interviews involve having a set of predetermined open-ended questions, but the interviewer is able to probe and explore for further details and ask additional questions. The interviewer aims to obtain qualitative data by asking follow up questions to gain more insight into the interviewee's perspectives and experiences.
