Andrew Hutton completed a half marathon challenge for his senior project. He trained for 9 weeks under the guidance of his father and coach Joe Robinson. His training schedule steadily increased his long run distances from 3 to 13.1 miles. Andrew overcame struggles with a broken foot and loss of his scholarship to complete the half marathon. He felt an enormous sense of pride in his accomplishment and learned what he is capable of through hard work. The project helped Andrew realize he wants to pursue a fitness-related career.
