The Series IS/PX/TX Insite™ Air/Liquid In-Line Flowmeter is available in a variety of materials including PVC, Aluminum, Brass, or 316 stainless steel. The variety of optional materials allows the flowmeters to be used in many different applications. The Series INSITE Flowmeters are also available with an optional field adjustable reed switch for high and low alarms. Series IS/TX/PX INSITE™ Flowmeters General Information ● What is it? ○ Multiple series of inline variable area flowmeters that provide visual indication of flow rate of a variety of applicable liquids and gases compatible with the specified wetted material. ■ 1/2” to 1-1/2” Port/Connection ■ 3 to 50 GPM (20 to 200 LPM)
Series IS/TX/PX INSITE™ Flowmeters Applications ● Series IS | Polysulfone tube and piston flow indicator with 316 SS spring and shaft with PVDF, aluminum, brass or 316 SS fittings ○ Deionized water, ultra pure, and water applications ● Series TX | PVC tube and piston flow indicator with Titanium spring and shaft with PVC fittings ○ Municipal, industrial, and water & wastewater applications ● Series PX | PVC tube and piston flow indicator with aluminum, brass , 316 SS and PVC fittings ○ Cooling water, process water, weld water, compressed air and nitrogen applications Cooling Water, Air/Nitrogen Water & Wastewater Deionized Water
Series IS/TX/PX INSITE™ Flowmeters Key Benefits / Features ● Spring and piston design ○ Mount units in any orientation and position increasing application flexibility ● 4 psi ( 0.28 bar ) maximum pressure drop at full scale flow ○ Conserves pump energy needed to maintain desired process flow ● Clear transparent tube ○ Cost effective solution with full fluid visibility to visually monitor process fluid ● Direct reading flow scales in English & Metric ○ Saves time and reduce error with direct flow reading ● Optional factory supplied or field installed switches ○ Allows for alarm, high, low indication for additional application flexibility
