Beach Clean Up
Reasons
 Save the environment

 Protect marine life by reducing pollution

 Have fun in the process, and enjoy ourselves at the
   beach after that

 Learn more about the marine ecosystem
Objectives
1. Contribute to the community by cleaning up public places
such as the beach

2. Raise awareness among students of environmental
problems caused by pollution in our coastal areas, and
come up with ways to apply their learning to stop pollution
and encourage the public to recycle

3. Educate the students to be responsible, civic-minded,
kind and caring citizens
Details
The Secondary 3 and 4 classes will take turns to clean the
beach every last saturday of the month.

We will contact NEA (National Environmental Agency) for
supplies and possibly funding.

We will also set up booths in school to educate people on
the harmful effects of environmental pollution and
encourage recycling.
Details
Date: Every last saturday of the month

Time: 8 am - 10 am

Venue: East Coast Park Beach

People Involved: Secondary 3 and 4 students, NEA
