SESSION LAYER The session layer controls the dialogues (connections) between computers. It establishes, manages and terminates the connections between the local and remote application.
WHY THIS PROTOCOL IS USED? An example of session layer protocol is OSI PROTOCOL SUITE also known as ISO 8327 or X.225 and ISO 9548 or X.235.
PURPOSE OF SESSION LAYER Purpose of session layer is to assist in support of the interaction between co-operating presentation entities.which are classified in two categories. 1. Session Administration Service and 2. Session Dialogue Service.

CONCLUSIONS SESSION LAYER IS MAINLY RESPONSIBLE FOR COMMUNICATION BETWEEN TWO NODES. WITH IN COMPLITION OF THE SESSION OF COMMUNICATION. OSI MODEL WAS OUT OF THE MODERN NETWORK BASICALLY WE USED TCP/ IP MODEL.
