Representative Projects (2010 to 2015)
 Systems Engineering: Led design and multinational rollout of robust, scalable and secure electronic
data interchange (EDI), enterprise resource planning (ERP) and point-of-sale (POS) systems for clients
including CBA and Bharti Airtel. Results: In the mCommerce project, I had an oversight role on the team
handling integrations to 3rd party systems using Web Services, SOA and other application integration
technologies. By closely managing the teams and ensuring easy collaboration, all integrations were
completed in time.
 Custom Software Developments: Managed the team developing native applications for Android, iOS
and Web for mCommerce Financial Application project, integrating to the 3rd party systems. Also
managed the defects at below 20 for the 3 channels. Results: Under the ERP project, finished
development and deployment of 5 Reports in PL/SQL in medium complexity within 2 weeks Developed
90 Technical Specifications documents and Unit Test Plans for Oracle Reports. Deploying concurrent
processes and custom development in Oracle Applications eBusiness Suite with use of System
Administration and Application Developer module. Implemented forms personalization and menu
exclusion for 80 Supply Chain modules.
 Database Developments: Guided teams in the development of relational database management
systems (RDBMS) for clients including CBA. Results: Improved the consistency, recoverability and
accessibility of data.
 System Integrations/Migrations: Managed complex integrations in the mCommerce Financial
Application development, where this solution was the main orchestrator between the Core Banking (T24),
Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), Card Management System (CMS), Personal Finance Management
(PFM), Mobile Money providers, Card Issuance System, SWIFT and Pesa Link.
 Enterprise Implementations: Resolved Single Sign On (SSO) Issues, Oracle Responsibilities Adding
and Navigation for 20 business users during User Acceptance Testing. Finished Column Set and Row
Set Definition for Financial Reports in Finance Module for over 4000 records in 3 days. Results: Ensured
defect-free releases through careful planning, testing and QA efforts.
 Government projects: Successfully implemented the following Project Management and Change
Management processes across 5 departments of government of Kenya Directorate. Results: successful
completion of over 10 ongoing projects that had delivery issues. This discipline of managing projects was
replicated across the whole Ministry of Information and Communications
