Shaji Ramakrishnan has over 19 years of experience in environmental management at an integrated steel plant in India. He has expertise in areas such as EHS management, pollution control, laboratory management, water and waste management, auditing, and project management. Currently he is the manager of the environmental management legal team and is responsible for environmental monitoring, reporting, ensuring compliance, and managing projects related to pollution control equipment and waste treatment. He has a master's degree in ecology and environment and various other qualifications in industrial safety, systems management, and environmental law.

Bellary, EHS Management (2001- till date) Currently with Environmental Management Legal team Liaisoning with Central and State Pollution Control Boards, Office of ACCF and PCCF, municipal and village authorities on regular basis. Obtaining clearance from PCBs for imported equipment, lead acid batteries etc. Responsible for management of Environmental Monitoring and Reporting team.
