Bacterial cell wall is the outermost layer of the cell wall, in such cases cell wall goes in direct
contact of the environment
The Bacterial cell wall Is Arranged Is As Follows
There are Two Types of bacterial Cell Wall
1) Gram Positive Cell Wall
- This cell wall Has a thick peptidoglycan layer
which is 30 100 nm thick
- it contains a
Thick Layer Of Peptidoglycan

2) Gram Negetive Cell Wall
- This Cell Wall Has A thin layer of peptidoglycan
which is 5 to 10 nm thick.
