This document summarizes a discussion on training strategies for SharePoint between representatives from Penn State AgSci and Auburn/ACES. Both organizations provide face-to-face and online training that is typically less than 3 hours. While their approaches are similar, ACES focuses on synchronous training through help desks and feedback tools, whereas Penn State AgSci offers both synchronous and recorded hands-on sessions. Lessons learned include determining appropriate user permissions and ensuring multiple trainings along with follow ups to support adoption.
