showcase a wider variety of accomplishments on
LinkedIn profiles.
Five new profile sections for students

experience relevant to your professional goals.
Honors & Awards Did you earn a scholarship or a spot on the Deans List?

Organizations Show how you contribute outside the classroom by listing
on-campus or off-campus program participation that
showcases your leadership abilities.
Test Scores Earned a terrific GPA or other dynamic test scores worth
bragging about? Talk about it here.
Coursework Is rigorous coursework your mantra? Use this space to
select courses which qualify you for that perfect job or
demonstrate academic commitment.
To update your profile, go to your LinkedIn profile page, click Edit mode, then click the blue Add

A plug-in in the form of a Apply with Linkedin button
Over 1,000 companies have added the plug-in to their
job listing pages.
Once an applicant clicks on it, their LinkedIn info is sent
to the company in lieu of a resume.
Applicants are then reminded of professional
connections that might help them get the job.

#10: According to its recent Growth Filing Report released on 27th June 2011, LinkedIn had hit the 90 million user mark at the end of 2010; already by the end of Q1 2011, user numbers had gone beyond the 100 million mark.Aside from the growth in users, LinkedIn has also recently announced a revenue increase 120% up year on year to $121m (贈74m) in the three months to June. Profit was also up to $4.5m (贈2.8m), compared to $4.3m (贈2.6m) in the previous year.
