THE	PRECEEDING	INITIATIVE	WHICH	GAVE	BIRTH	TO	MsLIGHT	CollaboraIve	
	
Mississippians	were	asked	who	&	what	is	Modern	Mississippi?		
90	of	the	nominaIons	were	interviewed.	
With	these	鍖lms	a	map	of	Modern	Mississippi	was	created	through	the	stories	of	
Modern	Mississippians.	
	
MsLIGHT	CollaboraIve	was	born	to	showcase	this	unique,	innovaIon	&	creaIvity	that	
bursts	from	the	stories	of	Modern	Mississippi.

Same challenges as Jackson encouraging outcomes. Its innovation program generates an ecosystem of ideas and learning during the day while lights, performances and live music rejuvenate Baltimoreat night. mirrors the rich diversity of Baltimore City Emphasizing cultural equity
