Music Video Idea(Shimon)
Simple Rundown
• A girl exploring in an adventurous
fashion through the forest and different
various locations where she comes
across different surreal scenes and she
carries smoke bombs with her. There is
an element of dreaming where we cut
back to the studio and there’s arty
imagery.
• Since we have forest all around us
a misty forest which would be
achieved from (white smoke
bombs to create and a
male/female dancer holding
colourful smoke bombs) and
dancing a pre choreographed
dance to the music.
• The beginning starts with a
white sheet in a blacked out
studio, with a women hands
ripping the white sheet.
Behind the sheet would be
the green screen which would
be the forest. This enables us
to create the effect that she is
going from one world to
another.
• Near Hurtwood House
there is a run down old
gun-powder mill where
the dancer can be
‘exploring,’ holding a
smoke bomb as they
enter the abandon run
down building from the
forest.
• Posible Editing/Filming techniques
used:
• Slow motion
• Camera rotation
• Scenes Fading into black
• Reversed filming for the smoke
bombs.
• Example:
https://vimeo.com/73460400
• Locations: Misty Forest (white smoke bombs to create mist and dancer
holding colourful smoke bombs), run down and empty gun powder mills,
dark studio with quite and slow beginning of song to match the scene.
• Props: Colourful smoke bombs, paint, rope
• People: Female/male Dancer - doesn’t need to be excellent as movements
will be slowly walking through in an exploring fashion..
• Possible things to point the camera at:
• Opening a door and smoke pours out
• Women wondering through forrest with two smoke bombs
• Black paint pouring down white banner
• Women tied to a tree..
Basic Break down:
