The document proposes a system to generate power from vehicle shock absorbers. As a vehicle moves, the up and down motion of the shock absorber is used to turn a generator via gears and a chain. This generates DC power that can be stored in a battery. The system aims to conserve energy that would otherwise be lost during shock absorption and make use of this wasted mechanical energy. The shock absorber's movement produces mechanical power which is converted to electrical power by a DC generator and either used directly or stored in a battery.

SHOCK ABSORBER BASED POWER GENERATION ABSTRACT: Energy conversion involves avoiding wastage of energy and adopting methods to save without affecting productivity and comforts. The Shock Absorber power generator system is used to generate DC power from Shock Absorber mechanism. The Shock Absorber mechanism produces mechanical energy. The mechanical power is converted to electrical energy in the DC power generator using DC Generator. This output is stored into charger as well on battery. The Shock Absorber is used to generate the power. That generate the power and power is stored in the battery. It is a dc voltage its can used to only AC electrical appliances. So the Shock Absorber output of DC voltage is converted to AC through inverter section and the inverted output is used to electrical load. Thus the power is generated use of Shock Absorber.
