- 2. 1. The LEGEND OF THE BLACK SEA written and illustrated by Sergey Nikolov. (2013) 2. It is about an old man lived quietly, weaving nets on the shore of a beautiful sea. 3. He shared his catch with his obedient dog Boley and his evil black cat Serzhina
- 3. Boley fetches water for the old man but Serzhina want a fish before fetching the old mans hat Boley doesn't like Serzhina because she is black and doesn't help as much as he does. The old man forbid Boley to mention Serzhina as Black cat, evil cat! The old man was ill and asked Boley to fetch a pill from the medicine cabinet - Boley couldn't reach it because the cabinet is to high. Serzhina had to be begged and promised a fish before she would go fetch the pill otherwise she refused to bring the pill. Boley, bring me some water because Im thirsty! I want a fish first. Meow, meow!! The old man pleaded with Serzhina without success, bit the pill dropped to the floor so that Boley could then fetch it for him
- 4. Many fish are caught! 4. A herring-gull appears and tells the starving old man to throw his net into the sea and Many fish are caught! But things begin to happen: 2. The sea turns black and the fishing is nil 3. A little black hungry kitten with a broken tail appears 1. Their house was burned Old man ask his pet to help him bring water from the sea The wise gull says remember one thing - a person without faith is like a net without fish. Once again you believe in goodness and once again your net is full.' All is repaired and life returns to normal GO AWAY!!!

- #5: Boley pleads with the old man to drive Serzhina away. The old man answer with calm - that the someday the cat will change. their house was burned and he ask boley and serzhina to bring water from the sea, the dog dashed off to bring a water, but the cat didnt budge at until the old man threw her a fish , the man keep threw her a fish so that the cat will help him, but a little later the fish ran out and serzhina stooped again. The dog kept on until he was exhausted but the fire covered the whole house. 2. The poor old man weft because he had been left without a home, the old man got enough, he grabbed serzhina and agrilly threw her into the sea. Finally he feel free from the black cat but the sea grew black. He loses faith in its goodness. Find out what happens when the old man loses faith in the cat's goodness. This is an unforgettable story which shows that strength of will is above everything else. 油
