- 1. The music video I will be using for the shot count task is Lady Gagas poker face. In the first minute there are 41 different shots of various locations and of the main singer wearing different clothes. The main shots in this video are medium to close-up shot of the main singer (aka meat shots) from these shots we can see the different costumes that the singer is wearing and her performance. There are a variety of different editing techniques used throughout the video, but the main one used is multiple quick shots of the lead singer so it looks quite jerky and distorted there is also a mirror effect used twice in the first minute. The 4 key media concepts can be applied because its genre is pop; it has a clear linier narrative, which is narrated by the main singer. Its target audience is males and females aged between 15-30, the male gaze theory applies to this video as there is a lot of revealing costumes and seductive actions and posture. Also there are a lot of meat shots, which shows clear representation on the record label. <br />
