Tracking shots and panning shots are used to follow April as she walks down the street to give the sense that she is being followed and to show her surroundings. Close ups in the kidnapper's shed will show props like knives and rope to indicate it is their hideout, and close ups of their eyes will keep their identity mysterious. Wide shots and panning shots of the empty park are to create an eerie atmosphere and mood, while close ups could be used to make credits disappear on the roundabout. In the policeman's office, over-the-shoulder shots and close ups will establish his role without revealing his identity, and extreme close ups of his mouth on the phone or eyes will show his reactions.

Tracking shots and panning shots are essential for when April is walking to the park as it gives an eerie sense that shes being followed and also allows for a view of her surroundings to show where she is. It also shows her walking to an unknown location leaving the audience wondering where shes heading . . In kidnapers shed: Panning shots, extreme close up, close ups, over the shoulder shots, The kidnappers shed will have props such as knives, rope and duct tape to clearly indicate that it is the shed of the kidnapper.
