5. National Employment Week
Sigmar Recruitment launched National Employment Week in 2011 to set the
agenda on major employment and social topics in Ireland through a series of
seminars, focus groups and forums. The focal point of the week is The Talent
Summit, one of the largest HR conferences in Ireland.

17. Ireland Gateway To Europe
Sigmar Recruitment are one of the founding companies of Ireland Gateway To
Europe, an annual privately funded Foreign Direct Investment mission to the
USA. The aim of this initiative is to attract US companies to Ireland and create
jobs.

23. The Employment Leadership Group (ELG)
Sigmar established the Employment Leadership Group in association with CIPD.
Its purpose is to provide a cohesive approach by businesses to address the
problem of unemployment.
This group, made up of 200 of Irelands top HR business leaders, is the most
influential employment group ever assembled in Ireland and its aim is to
capitalise on its collective influence by impacting job creation. It counts the
employment leaders of companies such as Alkermes, Diageo, Twitter, Monster
and PayPal as its members.

25. The objective of the Employer Leadership Group is to provide
direction and support to job creation stakeholders to include
Government, employers, jobseekers and education.
The group, chaired by Sigmar Director Robert Mac Giolla
Ph叩draig, meets at regular intervals to discuss the main
issues surrounding employment and what private industry
can do collectively to foster positivity and stimulate
employment.

Sigmar hosted a Presidential Employment Forum with six of the Presidential
candidates in advance of the 2011 election to highlight the role of employment
in Irelands social and economic recovery.

Dress Code, a Sigmar run charity fashion show, showcased the biggest names on
the Irish fashion scene in October 2015. The event was hosted by Irish designer

the Smock Alley Theatre in Dublin.

Local Heroes - A Town Fights Back was a six-part television series which followed the people of Drogheda as they came together to take their economic future
into their own hands and start the fight-back for jobs alongside Senator Feargal Quinn and an assembled team of experts including Sigmar CCO Robert Mac
Giolla Ph叩draig. Sigmar developed an FDI strategy Invest Drogheda that resulted in Droghedas twinning with Salinas, California and three US investments.
42. Shaping Government Policy For Jobseekers
Sigmar led two CEO level thought leadership focus groups in 2014 on new Government re-skilling and job activation programmes JobsPlus and Skills To Work.
We had representatives there from the Department of Social Protection, Education, Higher Education Authority, JobBridge, JobsPlus, Springboard, Skillnets, ICT

43. The Sigmar Job Creation Initiative
The Sigmar Job Creation Initiative, presented to Government in April 2010, is a 10 point plan comprising practical recommendations from employers including the
heads of companies such as Cadbury, Elan, Glanbia and Hertz among many others. The prime objective of each initiative is to create jobs and remove barriers for

44. Hosting Digital Assets in Ireland
Sigmar CEO Adrian McGennis (pictured) launched the Hosting Digital Assets in Ireland report in November 2014. The report, in association with Host in
Ireland, examined the availibility of ICT Talent in Ireland and the employment impact of setting up data centres in an area.

Sigmar Directors regularly give guest lectures on HR and employment topics to international students on placement in Ireland from Boston College and Notre
