The student initially chose the theme of "congestion" focusing on a busy shopping area, but was advised by their tutor to change the theme to "Bazaar" to better represent their photos of Lorong Tuanku Abdul Rahman in Kuala Lumpur. Over multiple visits totalling 12 hours, the student documented the indoor and outdoor markets through photos and researched the area's history as a cultural center with different ethnic groups coexisting in a limited space.
