I am currently studying Business Accounting at Centennial College. Upon graduation, I plan to work in an accounting firm as a junior accountant. This photo took at the first time I came to centennial college. That was one year ago. I just about start to study in Centennial College. After five semesters of study, I will graduate end of April. I learned a lot in this school. Not only the professional skills, but also the soft skills, for example, team work skills, presentation skills, and business communication skills. I want to pursue a career as a CGA(Certified General Accountants) and my dream is to have my own accounting business in 5 years.
I have a part-time job at In Optical. I like to work with people, so I really glad to service customers to chose right frames. At first, I didn't know how to introduce glass frame to them. I also don't know too much professional vocabulary. After the manager s consultation and my own effort of practice, right now I can help the guests choose eyeglass frames that they are satisficed. This improvement has achieved one of my short-term career goals.
I was a volunteer at food bank at Thanksgiving Day in 2011. We went to there with my church friends. We need to sorting out different kinds of category, in order to distribute to the poor in the future. It not easy for me, because I just landed in Canada for 2 mouths. But by following my friends instruction, I finished the task smoothly. This experience made me realize that no matter where you are there are always hungry poor people need our help.
I have been the host for the music concert in September 15, 2012. I was one of committee for organizing and planning the whole project. This concert was especially target on college students to share gospel. My team members and I have worked together for 6 months, including pre-planning meeting, organizing the band, and advertising to public. There were about 200 people attend this concert.
When I am free I would like to do sports. Last winter I went skiing for the first time in my life. It hard for me in the beginning. I kept felling down and standing up. But with help of the coach and my friends, I started to pick up some skills. This kind of extreme sports was very stimulating and I enjoyed very much. It also helped me release the stress from busy life style.
