The B2R Method Learning to play music should be fun. Students feel motivated by playing with their peers. Student's individual music instruction should be supplemented by jam sessions and playing in a band. A band builds teamwork, develops social skills, fosters self-esteem, promotes peer recognition, and leads to lasting friendships. Students learn faster playing music they like by applying the same technical foundation. Students are motivated to learn from when they see early results and have an exciting, achievable goal. Toddlers and very young children are introduced to music instruction, rhythm, and motion supports cognitive development, learning, and motor skills.
Individual Sessions Private one-on-one lessons in piano/keyboard, guitar, bass, voice, drums, woodwinds, brass and many more Instruction is each week for 30 or 60 minutes For children ages 7 and up Pricing (includes instructional material; fees paid at initial lesson) $42/half hour $76/hour
Semi-Private Lesson Small group (two- or three-to-one) lessons in piano/keyboard, guitar, bass, voice, drums, woodwinds, brass and many more For children ages 6 and up Pricing (includes instructional material; fees paid at initial lesson) $28/half hour $50/hour plus instructional material fees (paid at initial lesson)
Group Class Details One hour classes especially designed for beginning keyboard, guitar, bass, voice and drum students. Classes meet for 8-10 weeks, are 60 minutes in duration and the maximum class size is 6 students. Tuition - $35/session plus instructional material fees (paid at initial session)
The Band Program Band coaches work closely with students and train the bands during 60 minutes session each week. Students are placed in compatible bands according to age and ability Bands are usually composed of four to six players and a vocalist. Pricing - $35/hour plus instructional material fees (paid at initial session)
Camp B2R offers a multitude of winter camps that cover a wide range of interests and skill levels. Cost - $199-399
Rock City Real music education for your 3遜 - 5 year old Dynamic musical and movement-based activities Exposure to live instruments and musically inspired story- time Focus on foundational musical concepts - Fast and Slow, Sound and Silence, High and Low and even singing and playing Major Scales. 45-minute classes once a week. Tuition - $20/session plus instructional materials fees (paid at initial session)
Birthday Parties B2R Rock Birthday Party ($35/child) B2R Early Childhood Party ($250 for up to 15 children) B2R Karaoke Party ($350 for up to 15 children, $25 per child for additional guest)
Battle of the Bands Held at the 9:30 Club in Washington Divided into three divisions: High School Division Elementary School Division Middle School Division Members of the B2R Jam Band program can register for $20 Band must play two songs in eight minutes $5/Ticket Bands will be evaluated on musicianship, ensemble precision, and stage presence by a panel of experienced judges.
