This document describes a smart speed control device for vehicles that aims to reduce accidents at rail crossings and traffic junctions. It works by using sensors to detect vehicles approaching dangerous areas and then sends signals via Zigbee modules to the receiving module in vehicles to control their speed. The system is designed using an MSP430 microcontroller and Zigbee for wireless communication. It has applications at school crossings, narrow roads, and junctions to automatically enforce speed limits as vehicles approach in order to increase safety and reduce accidents. The conclusion is that this smart speed control device can help reduce major accidents even if drivers are unaware of the situation.
