SO Recordings is an independent record label that is a subsidiary of Silva Screen Records. It was established in 2010 to produce and sell music as well as tap into Silva Screen's licensing network. Silva Screen Records is a leading film and television soundtrack label that owns several subsidiary labels covering different music genres. SO Recordings signs and promotes indie rock/electric artists and distributes their music digitally online through websites and iTunes.

SO Recordings was set up to not only produce and sell music but tap into Silva Screens expansive licensing network. Silver Screen is synonymous withTV and Film music and the Company has been setting the pace in that market for over 25 years. Acting as a label (with a catalogue of over 750 titles) they have offices in London, NewYork and Paris. SO Recordings are able to plug all their signings music into Silva Screens global licensing network.

Founded by owner and MD Reynold DSilva in 1986, the group retains a catalogue of over 500 titles and over 10,000 master recordings and has offices in NewYork and Paris.
