In a democratic society, our representatives should work for the good of the Filipino people. This is the function of all branches of government -- Our Welfare! If they will not, we will reject them. This is the purpose of elections so that we will have people who will truly represent us! We are not against responsible parenthood! We are not against family planning! We are not against population management!
? Here we point out with particularity- ¡° THE REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH BILL.¡± And why it is so WRONG !!! WRONG!!! WRONG!!!
This bill hides under the cloak of generalities but as a saying goes, ¡°The devil is in the specifics! They describe the RH bill as ¡°giving the government the duty to promote responsible parenthood through giving enough information to the people and having safe, legal, affordable and quality reproductive health care services for people who want it.¡± That is really one big generalization!!! Sounds very good too!!!
But in the specifics, does it really provide for what is good for the Filipino people? Should we swallow this bill hook, line and sinker ? Or should we instead study about the specific areas, dissect the bill, take out what is reprehensible, and point by point, determine what is going to be retained. ? Let us go to one particular provision THAT CONCERNS EMPLOYERS. ?
Section 17 states that employers shall provide for free delivery of reproductive health care services, supplies and devices to all workers... (read the Definition of Reproductive Health and Rights Section 4, paragraph g, Section 21, Paragraph c and Section 22 on Penalties)? Note: It says EMPLOYERS- small stores, big malls, small colleges, big universities, insurance companies, bus companies, airline companies and so on¡­ will be COMPELLED to provide free ¡°vasectomy¡± to their males employees or ¡°ligation¡± to their female employees.
There is a penalty if you fail to deliver what this bill is asking for. You can go to jail for failing to give a free condom to an employee! Grrr¡­!!! The Devil Is In the Specifics! How many employees do you have? And how many times will you not be able to provide them with what this law requires, will this not also be the number of times you will go to prison? For each offense: One month to 6 months imprisonment or a fine of P10,000 to P50,000 or both! HOW DO YOU LIKE THAT!
Let us go to another provision: Do you agree that you should be subjected to imprisonment for expressing an opinion against any provision of this law, if such expression of opinion is interpreted as constituting "malicious disinformation"? (See Sec. 21 on Prohibited Acts, Par. F and Sec. 22 on Penalties)? THAT CONCERNS OUR FREEDOM OF SPEECH AND OF THE PRESS.
ASK THEM PLEASE !!! Why will we not be allowed to say anything against condoms, pills and I.U.D.s if it is passed into law ? Why can we not expose anymore its harmful effects or even express our moral objections?
LET ME TELL YOU WHY!!! Because they know- it is harmful! Because they know- the deceptions will be be discovered and they do not want it exposed! OUR BELOVED LAWMAKERS!!! PLEASE DO NOT MAKE CRIMINALS OUT OF THE ORDINARY PEOPLE WHO ELECTED YOU!!!
Let us go to another provision: THAT INVOLVES FALSE LABELING. SEC. 10. Contraceptives as Essential Medicines. ¨C Hormonal contraceptives, intrauterine devices, injectables and other allied reproductive health products and supplies shall be considered under the category of essential medicines and ¡­ shall be included in the regular purchase of essential medicines and supplies of all national and local hospitals and other government health units.
IS IT NOT WRONG TO CLASSIFY CONTRACEPTIVES AS ESSENTIAL MEDICINES? WHEN THE TRULY ESSENTIAL MEDICINES ARE NOT BEING PROVIDED FOR BY GOVERNMENT FOR THE FILIPINO PEOPLE!!!
According to a survey, from an Article by Mahar Mangahas, Sept. 26, 2009, Philippine Daily Enquirer entitled ¡°Local Support for the RH bill is piling up¡±: Do you agree or do you disagree that I.U.D.s and pills are abortifacients? And the results of the survey showed that many disagreed. How incongruous! If they are ignorant how can they agree? More, if they have been fed with false information, will they know?
Instead they should tell ¡°us¡± that I.U.D.s are abortifacients because the fertilized ovum dies in the womb of the mother because of the toxicity of copper I.U.D.s Instead they should tell ¡°us¡± that pills are abortifacients because the young human embryo dies in the womb of the mother because it cannot attach itself thereto. Why are they not telling?
I.U.D.s are not ¡°safe¡± as they propagandize it to be. Surely you have heard. I.U.D.s can migrate to the bladder, the ovary or other places¡­ and cause perforations that can be deadly. ASK AROUND. RESEARCH BY YOURSELF. SURF THE NET. DON¡¯T TAKE US FOR GRANTED. THE LIFE OF YOUR WIFE DEPENDS ON IT!!!
WHAT ABOUT THIS!!! The I.U.D. got ¡°stuck up¡± in the uterus. They could not take it out. The uterus is filled with pus! You guessed right! The poor woman died!

Protect the mother! Protect the Baby! TELL OUR FILIPINO MOTHERS THAT USING THE PILL INCREASES THE RISK OF BREAST CANCER AND HEMORRHAGIC STROKE!!!
Using the pill will affect their child to have cardiomascular malformations, deformities of extremities as well as¡­ fetal masculinazation .
Put into the bill a provision severely penalizing any medical practitioner who causes an abortion or harms in any way a mother or the baby in her womb because of the contraception he has prescribed!!! Let them be responsible!
Let us put an end to this charade!!! Once and for all!!! Let us stop the silent killing of innocent babies!!!
Would it be responsible parenthood if your beloved child is actually malformed because you used contraceptives? They will never to live a normal life. They will be the object of ridicule for the rest of their days!!! There should be a provision in the bill penalizing severely drug companies selling contraceptives harmful to mothers and their babies!!!

This issue can never be belittled because it has so many deleterious effects. Actually many studies have been made. These programs resulted in dismal failure. But they cannot admit failure because that would be tantamount to admission of liability for so many families and lives destroyed!!! .
¡° My parents cannot tell me anything. It is my sexual right to be sexually active!!!¡± What the mother can do is tell her teen-age daughter before she goes on a date not to forget to take her ¡°pill.¡± Have you not heard this story before? or a father to tell his son not to forget to use a ¡°condom?¡±
Pro-Choice advocates themselves have found out that SEX EDUCATION without morals and values is useless! Emphasis only on ¡°Sexual Rights¡± has made young people in other countries sexually active. ¡°Shacking up¡± (staying in the same place and having sex) with a boyfriend (like cohabitation but without intention of marriage or making a family) has become a new lifestyle of the young.
When authority figures tell an entire generation of children that sex is for recreation and all sexual expressions are good, these attitudes will inevitably be translated into lifestyle. The result? Abortions, cohabitation, single-parent families, illegitimate births, teen-age pregnancy, incidence of sexually transmitted diseases, death due to AIDS among others have increased radically!!!
¡° THOU SHALT NOT COMMIT ADULTERY!¡± It is a moral directive. It is wrong everywhere. For Christians, it is a commandment of God.
Shall we jump headlong without ensuring what is truly good for our children? Look into what is happening in Europe and in the United States? Is this really what we want for our country to be? ? The repercussions are unimaginable!
Instead of promoting promiscuity, we should instead inform our young people about the dangers of promiscuity! That sexual relations with many men causes cervical cancer? That a virgin who has one sexual relation with a man who had many sexual relations with women is also prone to cervical cancer?
WHO ARE BEHIND IT? Why is this bill with so many atrocious and so anomalous provisions keep coming back? You got it right! It is sponsored by foreign entities represented by their dummies who anticipate a killing if ever this bill is passed!
The Philippine Government will become their ¡°sales agent,¡± ¡°bulk buyer¡± and ¡°distributor.¡± These foreign entities will get back the commissions they have given to politicians who have betrayed the Filipino people!!! Wait, do not forget that businessmen are also their clientele by legal coercion!!!
Let us qualify our political leaders according to what is truly good for the Filipino people! This bill is against the Natural Law and Nature is going to fight back! ? LET US MAKE THE REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH BILL AN ELECTORAL ISSUE!!!

AN OFFICIAL STATEMENT ON RH AND ABORTION In a joint hearing (April 29, 2008) of the Committees on Health chaired by Rep. Arthur Pingoy and on Population & Family Relations chaired by Rep. Reynaldo Uy, POPCOM Exec. Dir. Thomas Osias stated authoritatively "that reproductive health & services as defined by the United Natons and used globally, includes abortion".
LET US PRAY SO MUCH. Let us ask our brothers and in sisters in all denominations, Ecumenicals, Pentecostals, Baptists and all Bible Christians including our Catholic brethren, the Poor Clares, the Pink Sisters and the Carmelite nuns and all people of good will to pray for the good of our country and for the good of our people. Let us pray that candidates who are Pro-Life, Pro-Family and pro-God (if you are a believer) to win in the 2010 elections. Let us petition God. Let us storm the heavens. Let us join hands together.
Let us ask our religious leaders of all denominations and all Churches in the Philippines to support us and urge and oblige their pastors, their ministers, their priests to teach and to preach about this great danger posed against the morality of our children and the integrity of our families. Let us ask for bishops of all denominations to make a call for an ecumenical prayer worship against the approval of this Anti-life bill that is fraught with deception as well as our Catholic bishops to make an ¡°Oratio Imperata¡±.
Let us rise to the occasion. Let us not be like any other nations. We have been praying for change¡­ but change cannot come if we vote for the same unprincipled leaders!!! We do not want to vote for a politician who secretly wants to destroy our Filipino values!!!
LIKE OTHER NATIONS SHALL WE BE? Where parents say to their children who have sex with their lovers and even with unknown strangers, ¡°I just want you to be happy,¡± because the law promotes too much sexual rights but does not provide training in morality and values! Where children after discovering their father wants a divorce, ¡°Dad, I just want you to be happy,¡± because marriage is no longer indissoluble in a permissive society.
We are Filipinos And We love our Family Values Of Closely-Knit Families Of Loving Parents and Obedient Children Once this law is approved, the Philippines will just be like other nations! We should make our position very clear!!!
Surveys in newspapers show that the majority of the Filipinos are in favor of contraceptives because they have been deceived. Please get in touch with Task Force: Family and Life, and ask for materials so that you will be properly informed. Be a member yourself, help disseminate and attend meetings.
